So let's see what are the main causes of ethical issues in an organization.
- Personal Behaviour (Neupane, 2017) : because of some people's ill behaviour, another set of people can be emotionally affected, which will lead to a conflict situation.
- Lack of Integrity: issues arise due to the lack of honesty and fairness in dealing with each other (Lambardo, n.d.), such as hatred, disrespectful conducts, etc
- Organizational Relationship Problem (Lambardo, n.d.): each person has different levels of relationships with others, because of this, certain issues can arise such as partial decisions, secret gossips, acting for each other's benefit at organization's cost, etc
- Conflict of Interest: this arise mainly in the environments where people from different countries with different interests work together in one place, issues will arise when the ethical requirements of the organization have less compliance with the interests of people. (Lambardo, n.d.)
- Ethical Codes of Conduct: organization can introduce a convenient guideline on how the employees should act at work. (Lambardo, n.d.)
- Online Complaint Portal: this will enable the people to address their issues freely and secretly as anonymous, which will eventually help the HR Departments to understand and find solutions for the existing issues within their organizations.
- Counseling Seminars: this will educate the people about values and importance of ethics as well as will make them understand their faults.
- Imposing Fines for Unethical Conducts: this is kind of second stage solution which would work for the people who are always with the fighting mentality.
